A SouthPark associate role, a Lake Norman specialist appointment and a Union County medical director search need different briefs. Start with the hospital address, clinical resources and schedule, then agree the search with BEGHR.
Specify independent procedures, appointment capacity and doctor overlap. If recruiting a new graduate, name the mentor and protect teaching time in the schedule.
Plan an associate search →Define the discipline, required credentials, shift pattern and resources already available. Explain referral communication, overnight staffing and inpatient handover.
Scope a specialist role →List the hospitals and decision authority. Separate clinical workload from protected time for coaching, clinical standards, team development and site visits.
Define a medical director role →Use the actual work address, required arrival times and any additional facilities. Do not present a Gastonia or Monroe vacancy as interchangeable with a Charlotte hospital, and do not describe Huntersville, Matthews or another incorporated town as a Charlotte neighborhood. A rotating role should state whether movement between sites happens between working days or during a clinical shift.
Choose the clinical and operational interviewers, confirm the employer-approved package and identify who can authorize an offer. Use the same role-related criteria for every candidate and give one person responsibility for feedback. Review the hiring brief and candidate scorecard before outreach.
This is permanent placement for employers. Your practice hires the selected candidate directly. An immediate relief shift needs a separate arrangement; this service does not promise a locum available today. Job seekers can start with BEGHR’s veterinary placement page; the pricing form here is for employer inquiries.
Use the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board online license verification for the relevant professional record. The Board describes its search page as primary source verification of licensure status for veterinarian licenses issued in North Carolina. Assign a person to verify status, record the date and resolve questions with the Board. Check any additional specialty credentials required by the employer with the issuing organization.
For a candidate moving from another state, review the Board’s veterinarian application, eligibility and exam requirements. The Board states that the NC State Exam is required for all veterinarians seeking licensure because North Carolina does not accept reciprocity, so an out-of-state license does not satisfy North Carolina requirements by itself. Do not treat a preferred start date as confirmation either. The Board determines eligibility and timing; BEGHR does not issue licenses.
If the role relies on technicians, confirm each registration through the same search. See the Board’s technician application and exam requirements and continuing education requirements.

Veterinary recruitment coverage
A Charlotte veterinary search works best when the hospital address comes before the metro label. Charlotte neighborhoods such as SouthPark and NoDa, Mecklenburg County towns such as Huntersville and Matthews, and municipalities in Union, Cabarrus, Gaston and Iredell counties are different workplaces with different county lines. Business Executive Group uses the employer’s role, schedule and location to scope a permanent search.
Keep City of Charlotte neighborhoods separate from the towns and cities around them. Davidson, Mint Hill and Kannapolis each sit in more than one county, and Mooresville is in Iredell County, so record the county with the address. Coverage on this site is limited to North Carolina. Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Lake Wylie and other South Carolina places fall under a different state licensing board.
Uptown, South End, Dilworth, Plaza Midwood and NoDa are all inside the City of Charlotte, yet City records name them through different planning areas, historic districts and station areas. Give the street address and floor, and keep a core-city hospital separate from any suburban site in the same group.
SouthPark and Ballantyne are Charlotte neighborhoods, not separate towns, and Steele Creek is a southwest Charlotte planning area that reaches toward the South Carolina line. Use the street address, and keep any South Carolina hospital out of the North Carolina role because South Carolina licensing is separate.
University City and Northlake each have their own City area plan. Treat them as different workplaces, and say whether the role also covers a Huntersville, Concord or other municipal site.
Huntersville, Cornelius and Davidson are incorporated towns in northern Mecklenburg County, and Davidson also reaches into Iredell County, where Mooresville sits. Record the county with the address, because a county line changes the workplace even between neighboring towns.
Matthews, Mint Hill and Pineville are Mecklenburg County towns, Mint Hill also reaches into Union County, and Indian Trail, Monroe and Waxhaw are Union County municipalities. Name the municipality and county for each hospital instead of using a general southeast label.
Concord and Kannapolis are Cabarrus County cities, and Kannapolis also reaches into Rowan County. A hospital in either city is a separate workplace from a Charlotte site, and a group that spans both should list each address and the days spent there.
Gastonia is the Gaston County city covered here. Keep a Gastonia hospital distinct from any Charlotte site in the same group, and name the home hospital if a doctor will work at both.
